not so much nightmarish, i just didn't like him. the way i "resolved" the conflict was to drive him to paranoia (unintentionally) and have him move out on his own. It was back in college, when i was in the dorms. i didn't like the guy the college paired me up with, but i ignored him for the most part as our dorm room was partially divided by our desks so we couldn't see the other guy's side. I was on the side farther from the door so he couldn't see over to my side at all, and i mostly watched TV with my headphones attached to it so i wouldn't disturb him. and as a multitasker/fiddler i would sharpen my knives for class (i was going through for chef training so sharp knives = good), so all he'd hear is chuckling from me because of my shows and the sould of knives being sharpened. so he was getting paranoid and decided to move out. i ended up with the double dorm room to myself. which was good. :D

i am sleepy. and horny. and sore. and yeah...

i'm 13% away from being done downloading the season finale of the 4th season of the 10th doctor, and commencing downloading Star Wars A New Hope. Got an invite to be Lord Vader for a birthday party on april 10th, still don't know what i'm gonna be for the one in March, and apparently one in july too. so that's gonna be fun. *shrug* Went to the bar last night, in my Doctor Who -esque style clothes. ie dark blue dress pants, blue dress shirt, tan overcoat. had fun, danced too much with a large bunch of girls, had quite a few of them grinding me. but alas i didn't get any of their numbers nor take them home with me. but even if i had, i'd have been too tired to do anything to them. but i love the ego boost and vanity boost of looking that damn good. one day i'll take a picture and post it. i need a nap. my eyes are getting heavy and blurry from lack of sleep. but damn it, i'm not leaving here without this episode being finished.

and i've just decided i want a Captain Jack Harkness outfit. the military jacket, the leather vest/pants, and white shirt. and i want a tardis... that goes through time and space. my apartment is a tardis, bigger on the inside than the outside. and i want more friends with benefits/fuck buddies here in london. *le sigh* tis annoying to be a sexually frustrated bachelor.

and i want a sonic screwdriver. and some doctor who icons.

*sigh* I can feel it coming, the oncoming storm of darkness within me. So, Wednesday evening, almost thursday and i'm sitting here bleary eyed and rather be sleeping... So, been comforting a friend, and have decided two phrases should replace old terms (if they haven't been done so already); Kissing shall now be replaced by Face-Noms. Eating a girl out shall now be Pussy-Noms. *nods* yep. Poor gal's had at least two bad things in as many days or so. and i'm attempting to fix one. It's easy and isn't making decide if i want to fix it or able to. Her laptop got a virus. I'm doing my full computer nerd ability to find and eliminate the problem. Downloading an all in one vista disc right now. (STILL need to get around to making a Live disc of Windows XP to put in computers without hard drive and still be able to run Windows XP. Right now beyond downloading the vista is running Avast! then i'll download and run AVG. better to have two viral scanners than merely one, if you aren't 100% careful with viruses. *thinks* it's been AGES since my last virus. i think it was last year, early spring or something. nope. it was back before that, when i was playing wow in the fall of 2008, and ended up trying to download a cd-free patch for the Sims 2. :/ yep. that was a long time. *sighs*

Ended up loosing my bus pass last night, and by extension my ID. Grr.. I think it fell out of my pocket on the bus to D&D, or from the bus stop to hank's place as it's not in my backpack, coat, driveway/walkway to my house, hank's interior of his place, and theoretically not in Marty's jeep. i hope it was on the bus, and being turned in soon. there was no money, just alot of ID and a card from the Creamery with a buy 7 cones get one free that was full.

I'm hoping vista speeds up and ends soon... i don't want to be here all night again, i had a day full of excercise, plus a half hour walk home and a good will workshop class in the morning. SO i needs my sleep!

So gonna end this so i can conserve mental power to fix the laptop. ttfn!

I also need to make an original series star trek sciences uniform. I've now recently bought a TOS tricorder for only $12! It was marked down from 50 to 15 because everyone thought it was broken as it wasn't making noise. And they had a 25% off discount on top of that from boxing week. so i bought it figuring it'd be just a matter of new batteries. i open it up at home, and hunt down the battery compartment... which is right beside the on/off/demo switch. which was set to "off". And i also bought a TOS tricorder for $5 which was just a normal purchase. and i need to buy suede for the belt. :/ and suede coloured velco to attach the phaser and communicator

So, seen something mildly disturbing, a new Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Entitled "And Another Thing" it's not by Douglas Adams. Which would be even more disturbing as he's been dead for close to a decade. It's by some guy who wrote a book (book series?) about someone named artemis fowl or something like that.

I'm still trying to hunt down a Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy/Doctor Who (tennant) crossover. i think it'd be pretty cool. but as i'm having a hard time focusing on this post i'm ending it here.

Busses are back up and running somewhat. will be a bit till they're at full capabilities. today and tomorrow it's free, on regular scheduals, then monday onwards it'll cost money and not be full capabilities.

I got a new phone the other day, a blackberry pearl, tis a pretty red. and it has free unlimited calls between 5pm and 8 am on weekdays, and unlimited calls all day on the sat and sunday.

tomorrow, i've got D&D, where i play a pirate in Greg's Arcanis game, tis going good.

i'm somewhat mopey and what-not. i dunno, i'm just lonely i guess. Holiday seasons, everyone's with their families, and significant others... *shrug* Been missing Crisi for a few days, probably an extension of the holiday loneliness.

i'm resuming work on my warhammer minis; right now focusing on my 40k space marines, I'm almost done the base coat for the last couple tactical squads, then i need to do the details on about 30 or so guys. then it's onto working on my orcs and goblins.

gah! this advertisement to the right of the posting area is giving me a headache, with it's flashy redness! Ah-ha! i just shift the screen and it's gone. muhahaha

so, let's see i'm gonna be going to someone's birthday party on the 30th. Rob from the london rogues invited me to come and help him with an appearance, ie dress up as a storm trooper. I'm contemplating a costume that i'll work on as of 2010. It's of Corran Horn, he's a character in the Star Wars: X-Wing series of books. He's a Rogue Squadron pilot who was in the Corellian Law enforcement thing, and he finds out he's a jedi. he's a cool character. So i'll make the rebel pilot flight suit out of green (as that's what he wears because of the corellian habits of his), and jedi robes. Shouldn't be too hard. *shrug*

Contemplating going to an event called DAL, it's a fetish orgy party thing. It's on new years eve which is my birthday. apparently since there's gonna be alot of sex and what-not people can be naked at it. so i was thinking about it last night and made myself groan due to a pun. I'd be in my birthday suit on my birthday. It amused me.

As for my pokemon platinum's living pokedex status, that's nearly complete. out of 493 pokemon, i've got 475. and of the 18 pokemon to go; i've still got 6 i need to get cheats for (as they'd only be available for nintendo events), 5 pokemon i can get from my Fire Red game, (2 of which i can capture on Platinum), 2 of which i need special items (that are a pain in the ass to get) to evolve 2 pokemon, and a few that i had hoped to get off of my pokemon Collesseium but apparently i've harvested and lost them. So, i've got to replay collesseum once i've got my gamecube working again.

so that's all for now, i'm gonna resume trying to get my action replay working on the school computer. so till next time!

Cursing the fact that the end of the world couldn't have waited 10 more days so it could end on my birthday

Worf right now suits me. my building manager Roni was to come by today with a copy of my lease. I had been hoping for him to come this morning. As of 6:30pm he had yet to show as i was walking here to check email, and rant and cool-down. I had hoped he would come early so i could go to OW (Ontario works, a.k.a Welfare) so i could get hooked up with them so i could pay my rent. But no. no signs of Roni. *scowls* hoping he's been there by time i get home, if so, i'm heading down to the OW first thing in the morning, to get put on hold (as you have to call to get an apt, and i don't have a phone, so i need to use theirs [Stupid really to call the building that you're in]) for an hour. then i'm hoping IF this all goes to plan, that i can get a same day apt, and hopefully get on OW the same day, and a check for rent and food, and bills, and a slip for a bus-pass. so i can actually go places without depending on a ride or walking.

I went to make a chicken breast the other night, it was dead. it was frozen enough to keep a bad smell out, but not frozen enough to decay. So i'm annoyed at the crappy fridge that was included in the hole in the ground i call an apartment. *scowls* i'm really hating my place right now. The freezer component keeps anything within 1 inch of the metal frozen, and anything above that is merely ice cold without freezing.

Hm, onto a topic that isn't pissing me off. Facebook's Farmtown, i started another farm on my secondary account, It's gonna be all trees. a grid of trees to be precise, with plowed and seeded plots under the trees. Tis neat. I'm harvesting and plowing sara's field to make more money to finance more trees. Damn orange trees cost an arm and a leg.

Hm. and in D&D news, finally converted my new excel based character sheet so it's working with Joel's game. He's got it very much homebrewed so my character sheets for a normal game don't work. So that's good, I've finished my Dread Necromancer (a possibility between him and a halfling outrider who's mount is more powerful than he is) But i've contemplated a change already to it to get things to work right, so i need to work on him some more, about an hour's worth of work. I need to finish the halfling, that's more work.

Gonna work on the only aspect of my Klingon Uniform that i can till i get money or find material. Ie the Headpiece. i'm gonna cover my hair with saranwrap (as it was suggested in the tutorial in lieu of a shower cap or bald cap), and after taking the other neccessary precautions, paper mache my head, about 75%, not the eyes though, i'll need to be able to see during this so i can do it myself as i have noone willing to do it for me. *Scowls*. then with the paper mache dried, hardened and thick, i'll patch the eyeholes, and fill her up with plaster of paris, making a plaster replica of my head. to which i'll add some clay forehead ridges, a coat of Clear Coat Paint, after waiting for that to dry, i'll start coating the top of the head in liquid latex, no less than 5 layers of that so it's strong enough to endure and keep the ridges.
Then i need to find a peice of wood or material (not steel) that's 4.5' x 1.5' in size preferably 1/8" to 1/4" thick so i can get a good grip on it in my klingon gloves. which are just them magic stretchy gloves with the fingers cut off at the first knuckle.  Then the rest of the costume i can't even start until i get on OW or get a job (which is unlikely to happen before i need the costume) I need pleather, and lots of it.

*sigh* and i have no enthusiasm about hallowe'en this year. Hell last october was shitty as all hell too and i still went out! this one just sucked the energy right out of me. I may just go in my pirate garb from last year and head over to Molly Blooms and do nothing for a few hours. as i can't afford any booze. :/

If i didn't have bad luck, i'd have no luck at all right now.

 

So, i more than likely should go to a doctor's. for a physical or something. I haven't been in ages. i don't like doctors, (well doctors who are examining me at least, i like people who are doctors). i never end up going when i'm not feeling well, so it's impossible for people to tell what's wrong. For the last while, off and on i've been having random ribcage pains. *shrug* and right now i'm a bit dizzy (ie it feels like my brain's vibrating) but that could be because of the flashy, seizure inducing type of banner on the right side of this screen.*resizes and shoves it over so it's not as visible* Or instead of the banner, it could be due to sheer amount of caffiene in the coffee i drank before i came here and last night. *sighs* Twas tastey, it was a strong coffee, flavored with chocolate and almonds. yum. My coffee machine essentially makes 2 extra large timmy's travel mugs worth of coffee at a time. :/ i should measure cup by cup as to how much water it actually holds, cuz it claims to be a 12 cup coffee pot. Oh, and another reason i probably should go to the doc's. i've been randomly lethargic for a while.

on to more pleasent news, ran into the guy who actually owns the building that i live at, he's a nice guy, he took care of some of the issues i've been having, or at least reassuring me about them. so that's good. I finished compiling a list of Races, Base Classes, and Prestige Classes from the Core Books and Forgotten Realms books, and compiled character ideas of those i want to play, and came up with a new one. Relatively new. it's a build from Wizard's forums from the optimization circus, it's a Factotum 15/Combat Trapsmith5. using a Whisper Gnome as the race. I've taken it tweaked it, It's Factotum 10/Trapsmith5/Combat Trapsmith5, and uses either Anthropmorphic monkey or a kobold as it's race. I want toplay that in Adam's Campaign, and the party's Trap Monkey. Of course prefering to be a monkey over a kobold for more humour in the build. It's possible he'll permit the monkey, as he was willing to let me be a Vanara (a Medium sized humanoid Monkey) The Anthropmorphic monkey is a small sized monkey, so about 3 feet tall or so. Tis cute.

huh. missed my 4th LJ-day. ie the 4th year anniversary for using LJ. "Created on 2005-09-29 23:29:25 "  oh well.
I'm cold. usually the computer lab is warm. :/ it's even got a good buffer of normally warm air in a hall between the lab and the outside world, and it's also got about 50 computers in it keeping it warm too. Oh well. i'm gonna toss a sweater on when i get home. Carol was at my apt building yesterday, dropped off the power cord for my poor laptop. I missed her only cuz she went to the wrong sector. Well, the power cable was to help the laptop, but alas, it had no more will in it to live. I'm trying to negotiate a trade, of my old laptop for one of their more recent models. *thinks* i should back up a bit in time. About 4 years ago, i got a laptop from the children's aid society. I was a crown ward going off to college, and needed a laptop, they gave me one of the used ones they had from the workers using them. So it was old and used when i got it. it worked okay, had some problems with it. and now 4 years ago, it's gone through 4 power cables, a hard drive and a battery. It was a good hardy laptop that has decided to die of old age. So i proposed trading the old one for a newer old one and if their techs can fix it, ressurrect it they can pass it off to someone else.

Elycia apparently made muffins, as to what kind i have no idea. She's invited me over for some, i may take her up on it in a while. i'm currently just waiting on the movie 300 to finish downloading to my jump drive. and now talking to my dear marshemellon.

I'm still puttering around with ideas for both Hank's game, right now the idea is a summoner (after it being a Halfling Outrider, a Sneak Attacker, a sniper archer, a drow SLA focused wizard), and Adam's game, right now it's a rogue who's a sneak attacker. I dunno, i may change it. *sighs* i can't settle on any idea right now for D&D. tis annoying.

you know, with only a few mins of the download to go, i'm seriously thinking of going to E's for a muffin. i'll know for sure once i hit my place for a sweater.

So, let's see... what to post about.... well first off pissed off at a waste of time, effort, emotion and money (in no precise order).

My laptop is getting a new power cord, so it will work and not just be a paperweight that takes up space. In the meantime i'm attempting to take appart the Acer, nibbling away the plastic as there's still hidden screws, and gonna make it merely the electronics. It's scrap anyways. the LCD screen was destroyed and costs about the same for a new laptop. If i can, i'm gonna get it working as a 4th home computer, just using external keyboard, mouse and screen as i assume i'll end up destroying the keyboard and mouse in the process.

Random Note: I need to pee.

I got carpet in my apartment now, ended up having to not go to D&D game to get it though. Oh well.  *sigh* when i mentioned it to Sara (a fellow player in the game i had to miss) she mocked me for choosing the carpet over game. *rolls eyes* it disappoints me when people who claim to know me don't get me at all. I have no hope at all for people at times. Tis blue plush carpet, has a stain resistant coating. and the first real thought i had once it was done and my apt was cleaned, was "Damn, now i want a 2 liter of cola, and a shamwow towel."

Speaking of D&D, i died last game in Hank's Campaign, so i'm floating from idea to idea now. not sure what i want to play. I've got a Drow Wizard built, a Human Swordsage/Fighter/Swashbuckler/rogue build that focuses on sneak attack. Now there's ideas of a Warlock and of a Dragonborn Mongrelfolk Dragonfire Adept, and a Dwarven Ranger who uses a musket and sends the pet in for combat. Yes; i know, it's stolen from WoW but it's a good character.

Right now, i'm controlling my bladder, ignoring the event that's happening in the B-Cafeteria, and reading the Dresdan Codak. True i'm not catching all the humour from it, but i understand it enough to find it fascinating. I desire to get drunk and/or stoned. I've got Blue Curacao and Blueberry Vodka at home, that when combined in an equal quantity with sufficient Sprite forms what i now call Romulan Ale. Tis tastey and blue. I'm chilly.

For the last two times i've been at the college, ie today and a couple days ago, i've been endevouring to download a DVD rip of Star Trek, last i left it the other day it had been at 33% complete, unfortunately, now it's as if i didn't get any, it just decided to overwrite the progress i had done. So that's annoying me.

I fear this LJ is turning into merely Emo type posts. :/ For whenever i contemplate doing a post it's either a rant, or just cuz i feel sad and what-not. Blarg.

tis annoying. i'm feeling very drained with nothing here to help it. I'm 1/2 hour from home, and my only mode of transportation is my feet, i'm too broke for bus fare and my bike was stolen. the communal washroom (i live in a boarding house/college student apt/bachelor pad) is a bio hazard caused by the woman who lives up at the top of the stairs. She sheds like a yak and ugh, i can't even put words to the gross-ness of the washroom. I barely spend any time in there because of it. My landlord's being slow in coming to get the rent, i'm on EI making merely 560 a month barely enough for food, rent and paying off bell canada so i can restore my phone and internet. got a friend who's barely worth the effort of keeping as a friend, she's reduced herself to a rude, snobbish, ice bitch who is constantly on defense for no bloody reason. The fact that she had been temporarily the only sex i had been getting is irrelevant, as it's more effort than it's worth, and her new/unsuppressed traits of her personality are making her undesirable at all. For some reason there's a wee part of me who wants to try to keep the friendship going however the rest of me is pointing out the increasing number of negatives pertaining to her. My bloody bike was stolen, right from the well lit back yard's anchored bike rack, which reduces my modes of transportation to walking, and that's only within a 2 city block walk (1/2 hour) before my knees start hurting too much. My student bus pass ended the other day which was forcing me to have to bike before i noticed the bike gone. and it doesn't help that EI doesn't give enough that i can afford a monthly pass. Job hunting is currently sucking, most of the places i go to don't ever contact me again, and the one that did, (3 interviews total) ended on a positive note filling me with hope, has decided that apparently they don't want me enough to contact me again, dashing my hope. *grumble grumble sigh* I'm hungry and tired and not sure if i can make it home. I came to the college in the hopes that Elycia's old laptop (which had been given to me when she had got a better one that works properly) would stay stable and allow me to get some work done that i can't do using the school's computers. Laptops are hating me, it'll cost me about a hundred dollars for a new battery for my Dell, 20 bucks for a new power tip for it too, (10 bucks being shipping and handling for a wee tip that can easily fit into a standard letter envelope) E's laptop needs $180 in one mere part, the LCD screen as it only has about 10% of the screen working, the power plug is loose, and the battery drains absurdly fast. none of the parts between laptops are compatable to use in each other so i can't even canabalize for at least one working laptop. I still have no internet despite the new landlord saying that we were gonna be getting building wide internet. my head hurts. i'm gonna try the laptop one more time, and give up and go home if i can't get it to work. wish me luck people.
